Drawing Form is the final exhibition in a trilogy that has explored a range of artistic practices that are in some manner Drawn from Life. Bringing together the work of thirteen artists, the show explores the boundaries of form itself, ranging from representations of the human body to formal artistic investigations inspired by the artists' immediate environment. Encompassing sculpture, video, collage, photography and pencil on paper, these artists have diverse backgrounds and practices. What is common is a shared engagement with the physical world, from daily news stories to the landscape around them, both natural and man-made. |
